Learning abroad

Learning in two countries

The European professional bachelor is a truly professional degree, integrating assessed work experience in the academic programme as well as practical and professional activities in the academic study.

It is a Europe-wide degree as all teaching and assessment is conducted in English and as it requires to follow each year of the course in a different country.

You will get to live in and experience both Denmark and France during the double degree programme.

In Denmark, the Lillebaelt Academy campus (EAL campus) is located in Odense and in France, the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) is located in Strasbourg

An opening up to the world

The programme aims to develop strong levels of motivation, high levels of adaptability and flexibility, self-management skills, independence and initiative.

The European Bachelor double degree allows you to place some of your studies abroad giving you invaluable international experiences, intercultural competences and of course a memory for life!

The total immersion resulting from living and working in two or three foreign countries will ensure the development of linguistic skills impossible to reach by study alone. The linguistic level reached in 3 foreign languages (English + 2 others) may be partly validated by ECTS credits as part of the degree or will be described in the Diploma Supplement and European Language passport in terms of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages which future employers can easily understand.

Besides learning new languages, it will also be a great opportunity to discover new cultures.
You will embrace a new way of life and a different thinking. Living in a foreign country will enrich you and will help you to develop human qualities, openness to others and the world.

An asset for employability

After completion of the programme, you will be rewarded with no less than two diplomas: one from Lillebaelt Academy University of Applied Sciences (EAL), Denmark and one from Le Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) in France.

Your career development will be impacted by providing you with a Professional Bachelor degree qualification in Construction and Mechatronics, Management, more advanced technical skills, work experience at a higher level as well as the business and management skills expected from graduate professionals. This will impact on your professional expertise and experience and enable you to take on higher level responsibilities in your company or to start your own SME (Small and medium enterprise).

The programme offers advanced technical and vocational skills and competences and it develops high levels of linguistic, cross-cultural and transversal skills to meet the demands of our knowledge-based economy.

Through the specialist pathway modules and the experience gained on work placement, you will learn about the different work techniques of neighboring countries and  acquire high level technical skills which can make you attractive to employers at home or more widely.
